1. What is Billi®?
Billi® is a preparation of Bilastine which is available as 20 mg Tablet, 10 mg Meltab and 60 ml Oral Solution.
2. How Billi® works in our body?
Bilastine is a non-sedating, long-acting histamine antagonist with selective peripheral H1 receptor antagonist affinity and no affinity for muscarinic receptors. Bilastine inhibits histamine-induced wheal and flare skin reactions for 24 hours following single doses.

3. What is the indication of Billi®?
Bilastine is indicated for symptomatic treatment of allergic rhino-conjunctivitis (seasonal and perennial) and urticaria.

4. What are the dosage & administration of Billi®?
Adults & adolescents (12 years of age and over): Billi® 20 mg tablet once daily.
Elderly: No dosage adjustments are recommended in patients over 65 years of age. The maximum recommended daily dose in adults is 20 mg, which should not be exceeded. If a dose is missed, the next scheduled dose should be taken. An extra dose should not be taken. Bilastine, once daily, should be swallowed with water on an empty stomach to achieve optimal exposure to Bilastine.
Children between 6 to 11 years (a body weight of at least 20 kg): Billi® 10 mg Meltab once daily.
The maximum recommended daily dose is 10 mg in children, which should not be exceeded. If a dose is missed, the next scheduled dose should be taken. An extra dose should not be taken. Bilastine oral dispersible tablet should be placed in mouth and it will disperse rapidly and then swallowed. Alternatively, the tablet can be dispersed in a tea spoon of water before being swallowed by the children.
Children between 6 to 11 years: Billi® Oral solution 4 ml once daily.

5. What are the contraindications of Billi®?
Bilastine is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients of the tablet.

6. What are the adverse effects of Billi®? Common side effects include: headache, somnolence, dizziness, and fatigue etc.

7. What would be the storage condition of Billi®? Keep in a dry place and store below 30° C. Protect from light and keep out of the reach of children.
