Description: Rabeprazole Sodium (Finix�) is an antiulcerant drug in the class of Proton Pump Inhibitor.
Indications: Healing of erosive or ulcerative Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) Maintenance of healing of erosive or ulcerative Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). Treatment of Symptomatic GERD. Healing of Gastric & Duodenal ulcers. Long-term treatment of pathological hypersecretory conditions, including Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome. In combination with Amoxicillin and Clarithromycin to eradicate Helicobacter pylori.
Mode of Action: Inhibits H+-K+ATPase in the gastric parietal cell hence reducing HCl production.
